Writing Roles
Freelance Writer
Starting as a research scientist and amateur historian I have built a career as a freelance writer working for magazines and websites. Working with the Guardian, BBC, and Mental Floss I've written articles on everything from proteins to Roman history to Mythology. I am always up for a writing challenge.
Social Media
Working as part of the @FolkloreThursday team on Twitter I helped manage a weekly event that attracted thousands of contributors.

For BEAT magazine I indexed their complete back catalogue and organised their photo library. Using various web tools I scheduled posts on Instagram over several months.
Scripts
After writing a short comic piece for the Papercut Theatre I learned to love hearing my words spoken aloud.

Since then I have written numerous podcast scripts for the popular 'Previously On...' show.
